I am a newbie to yoga. Less than two months and I am drawn to it. I mean how can you not be drawn to the cool things yogis can do with their bodies. Right?

Well cool moves is only a very small part of the reason I have a new found appreciation for yoga.  Mental focus, control, acceptance and the need to trust yourself is what draws me to the mat. I find it so refreshing when I take out 30 minutes to a hour of time, clear my mind and focus on my practice. Something I have quickly learned is it is harder for me to stay on my mat when I am not mentally committed to my practice. Meaning I have to be physically and mentally prepared for yoga practice.

In this fast-paced world it is so nice to have something to help center me and bring me peace. The cool poses are nice too!
