What Makes You Happy?

Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary defines “happy” as:

Happy (adj.)

  • feeling pleasure and enjoyment because of your life, situation, etc.
  • showing or causing feelings of pleasure and enjoyment
  • pleased or glad about a particular situation, event, etc.

What makes me happy can change at any given moment ranging from my amity to make people laugh or do an exercise I was not able to do a couple of weeks ago. To receive kudos at the job, a hug, a text message, a phone call, a simple “I love you”, a thoughtful gift or a kind word can be a part of this growing list. I cannot forget to add the pleasure of a time and availability to take a trip, hang with family and friends, or a walk in the park-just to be in nature to the list. Oh, to take a photo, accomplish a goal, learn a lesson, progress, read, learn something new, grow, laugh, dance, play in the rain, see beauty in everyday life- my happiness list goes on and on. I feel finding happiness in whatever you do makes life more enjoyable. I prefer being happy over sad or mad any day.

Below are some captured happy moments.

    Traveling. ❤

    Nature photography. ❤

    Going to the beach. ❤

    Killing a workout. ❤

Now I want to  know, what makes you happy?

Until next time… peace and love.
